Konami revealed more details on the next Silent Hill game of the next line in the latest flow of YouTube transmission on Thursday. Silent Hill: F throws the holder in favor of a new Japanese framework of the 1960s, with a general theme of “finding beauty in terror”. The last main entrance in the series was descending, published in 2013.
The announcement follows the release of the remake Silent Hill 2 last year, which was a major success by the standards of the series, selling more than a million copies in the first three days of its release. The series announced a band of future games, and although we do not yet have a release date, Silent Hill: F seems to be the one we can expect to see first.

Located in the 1960s, Japan, Silent Hill: F breaks from the small seaside resort of Maine, but other elements that fans should expect from the series are all here. Here is the official description:
“When the isolated city of Hinako Shimizu from Ebisugaka is consumed by a sudden fog, its former familiar house becomes a haunting nightmare,” Konami said. “While the city is silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must sail in the twisted paths of Ebisugakaa, solve complex puzzles and face grotesque monsters to survive.”
The title has a notable color palette of color palette, with more shiny visuals and contrasts that lean in the beauty atmosphere in terrorism. It will also be the first time since Silent Hill 3 that the series will have a female protagonist.
Konami’s decision to move the title to Japan seems to be part of the return to its roots, despite the series centered previously around an American city. The developer said that “the Japanese soul [of Silent Hill] has become lower at each new version. “”
In addition, it seems that it is a new change for the series if it is to succeed. Although the Silent Hill fan in me would not bother me if Konami simply put the effort to redo all four basic games, I also want to see him progress and evolve as a series.
