Tottenham organized a spectacular return to save a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth after falling 2-0 late in northern London.
The Cherries seemed ready for a vital victory in their pursuit for football in the Champions League, but the Ange Postcoglou team turned into an entertaining premier League confrontation.
Bournemouth started highly, pressing high and testing the defense of the Spurs from the start. Evanilson and Justin Kluivert both forced Guglielmo Vicario’s early stops while visitors threatened at the counterattack.
The Spurs had a hard time breaking the defense of Bournemouth and succeeded only 0.47 expected goals (XG) in the first half.
Their best chances came from the shy efforts of Yves Bissouma and Brennan Johnson, who did not really disturb Kepa Arrizabalaga with the goal.
As half-time advanced, Bournemouth’s pressure has borne fruit. Milos Kerkez went down the left flank in the 42nd minute and delivered a world class cross to Marcus Tavernier, who flew to the house to give the cherries a deserved advance at the break.
The home crowd expressed their frustration while Boos sounded in the stadium when the half-time whistle sounded.
Bournemouth started the second half with confidence and thought they had doubled their advance in the 52nd minute.

A quick counterattack saw Tavernier and Antoine Semenyo combine to install Kluivert, who finished beautifully. However, Var intervened, excluding the objective of offside in construction.
Without being discouraged, visitors were in a hurry again, and they got their second goal in the 65th minute. Kluivert intelligently played in Evanilson, who won a finish composed on Vicario to put Bournemouth 2-0 in advance.
Spurs, however, found an answer almost immediately. Lucas Bergvall hit the post before Pape Matar Sarr withdraws one in the 67th minute with a daring long-term effort that caught Kepa from his line, loop on the stranded goalkeeper to do it 2-1.
With the momentum, Tottenham pressed hard for an equalizer. They continued to test the Bournemouth background line, with Heung-Min, James Maddison and Wilson Odobert, all blocked efforts.
Their persistence borne fruit in the 82nd minute when Maddison played a well -weighted pass in his son, who was brought back to the box by Kepa.
The referee immediately pointed out the point, and his son was not mistaken, penetrating the penalty in the middle coldly to bring the Spurs to the level of 2-2.
The two parties were likely to win it late. Kluivert struck Bournemouth’s post, while Maddison saw a shot at close range blocked by Kerkez in time.
Despite the two teams that pressure for a winner, the match ended with the shared loot.
