Stoke City have sacked their manager Narcis Pelach after just 19 games in charge.
The former Norwich manager was appointed in September aged 36, but has won just three of his 18 league matches in the Championship.
A 2-0 Boxing Day defeat at home to Leeds left his side in 19th place in the table, just three points clear of the relegation zone.

Sporting director Jon Walters told the club’s official website: “Narcis is a talented coach with enormous potential, he works tirelessly and I have no doubt that he will be successful in the future.
“However, with the development of results and performances in recent weeks, we must accept with hindsight that he has proven not to be the right fit for this club at this time.
“I take full responsibility for this and I am absolutely determined that we now make the right choice moving forward.
“Every decision we make is driven by our love of Stoke City and our absolute determination to bring success to the club.”
The Potters, who have lost five of their last six league matches and drawn the other, are yet to announce their coaching staff for Sunday’s match against high-flying Sunderland.
