The new zombie map isn’t the only deadly surprise coming on day 115 of 2025. Black Ops 6 players can get back to killing zombies (or their ilk) for six days of double XP action, while the developer Treyarch announced that the new double XP week will run from From Wednesday January 15 to Tuesday January 21.
Anyone playing Black Ops 6 will have double Universal XP, double Weapon XP, double Battle Pass XP, and double Gobblegum earn rate applied to their account during the event – what Treyarch calls the “quad stream” of double XP weeks. The Battle Pass’s double XP boost will help any lagging players reach the final levels they need before. Black Ops 6 Season 2 begins on Tuesday, January 28.
The final week of double XP has already started in Black Ops 6, which means you will earn double XP in any multiplayer match or Zombies game you are playing at the moment.
THE Squid Game crossover event is also still ongoing as part of the Black Ops 6 Season 1 Content Cycleso players can take advantage of the Double XP Weekend to upgrade the new Cleaver melee weapon or try to earn some of the new Power Keg and Time Out Gobblegums added to Zombies earlier this season.

When does Double XP week start in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
During the event, players will benefit from double player and weapon XP and double Gobblegum drop rates.

It’s worth starting your game before your play session, if possible – as with every Black Ops 6 patch, the update will require you to download new content and restart the app.
Although this patch only adds double XP, it’s still worth prepping your game before you sit down to play. A much bigger upcoming patch will include The Tomb, the next zombie map to continue the Dark Aether saga.

New players have the opportunity to upgrade the weapons they unlock from the new and improved Warzone armoryand returning players can continue to unlock new attachments for the Black Ops 6 suite of weapons added to Warzone.

No, there will be no Double Battle Pass XP this weekend. This Double XP Weekend, players can earn double Player XP, double Weapon XP and double Gobblegums in the Zombies game mode.
What happens to Double XP Tokens during Double XP Weekend?
