Syria’s new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa and the Lebanese Prime Minister pledged on Saturday to build lasting relations after the fall of Bashar al-Assad. Sharaa said the new Syria would “stay equidistant from everyone” in Lebanon and “try to resolve issues through negotiation and dialogue.”
