Affordable. Light. Easy to fold and unfold. Approved TSA. Delivered with a cup holder. | Fairly short-haired glow compared to our other choices. The cup holder is easy to eliminate in the trunk. |
Delta Children’s icon does not look like much, but I quickly found myself impressed by everything he offered to such a good price. The seat has a good padding and a sensation, and it has a belly bar that you can easily grasp when you are folded. The setting is compact, but always large enough for my bigger kid. He comes with a cup holder, although it is a small size that I prefer to use only for the water bottle of my toddler, and I often overthrow him from the frame of the stroller when I stuck it in my trunk, which is boring. At 15.6 pounds, it is a little heavier than some of our other choices, but lighter than the Bugaboo above and always easy to transport. It has a big fold and can also sit standing. In addition, unlike Bugaboo, you can wear it with the Belly Bar. The storage basket is just large enough for my backpack with backpack bag.
Delta Children says that the stroller is approved by the TSA to adapt in air compartments, and the dimensions of the stroller (10.9 x 16.5 x 23.6 inches) make it a little thinner than the Bugaboo above, although always a little larger than your standard of standard hand luggage. You will want to check the rules of your airline on the strollers even with this small size. It has no auto seat adapters for infants or compatibility, which is a disappointment. The other disappointment is that this stroller is short – I am 5’4 “and if I wear high shoes, I find myself slightly folding to push this stroller.
15.6 pounds.
★ For older parents: THE Ergobaby Metro + ($ 299) It reminds me a lot of the Delta children’s icon, but it has an adjustable handlebar, so it’s a better choice for older parents. (It is rare to find an adjustable handlebar on travel strollers!) It is also compatible with the car seat, so it is better if you want to use it earlier, and the seat is a little larger so that your child can stick to it longer than other affordable strollers. Although it has a more robust frame than the icon, it does not fold or does not deploy as easily as the icon or my other choices, and it is not as easy to transport. But if you are really tall, you might be happy to face these problems with a much easier range.
