The NFL 2024-25 season is officially in books, and the Philadelphia Eagles are your Super Bowl champions.
Philly dominated the whole match, and the final score was not indicative of the imbalance of this competition. After all, KC was climbed to the board until after having lagged 34-0.
With the big game now in our rear view mirror, take a look at some of the most important dishes in the Super Bowl Lix.
The Eagles were the best NFL team this year
Several franchises had the case to be the best team in the NFL. The Detroit Lions have experienced their best season in the history of the franchise with a 15-3 file, but they underperformed in the playoffs and lost against the Washington commanders despite an advantage on the ground. The Kansas City chiefs returned to their third consecutive Super Bowl, but people will not remember the beat they suffered in the big match. The Buffalo Bills have reached the AFC championship, and the quarter-rear Josh Allen won the MVP, but lose against the chiefs in the playoffs will haunt mafia bills for years.
Really, the best team of the National Football League this year was the champion of Super Bowl Philadelphia Eagles. They were one of the top four teams in the league during the regular season, and they were easily the best team of the playoffs. Therefore, Philly should be considered the best undisputed NFL team this season.
Sometimes the best team does not win the Super Bowl, but this was not the case here. With a 18-3 file, the Eagles won the most victories from all the League teams this season. Philly also had a top ten attack (seventh in points per game) and a ten defense ten (second of points per authorized match). These units were even better in the playoffs (first in attack, third in score defense).
Eagles are the best NFL team, and they should be considered favorites to win the Super Bowl LX next year in Santa Clara, California.
This season has been a failure for the chefs
Normally, a 17-2 file and an appearance in the Super Bowl would be considered a successful season for 31 other NFL teams. But this is not true for the heads of Kansas City.
After consecutive victories of the Super Bowl, the simple fact of going to the Big Game is no longer good enough. The players, the coaches and the fans expected KC to be the very first team to win three consecutive Lombardi trophies. However, this dream is now dead, and there is a possibility that we will never see the chiefs having a race like this.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure KC and Patrick Mahomes will return to the Super Bowl. I no longer think that they never bring together three consecutive victories of the Super Bowl. Hell, I don’t know if I will never see it in my lifetime.
I do not discredit the chief dynasty. They have still won three super bowls in the past six years, one of the best races we have ever seen in the National Football League. In that spirit, however, the only way to see this season was going to be considered a success was that KC became the first team to win three consecutive Lombardi trophies. Daily from these expectations, I think this season has been a failure for the chefs.
Kansas City had a good team this year, but they never look great. Despite their record, the chiefs were only good – not large – defensively (fourth in score) and just a team in the middle of the road offensively (15th in score). If they had put in place indicating figures and looked like the best offense or the defense of the NFL all season, then this loss would be a little more pleasant to taste. But since it was a statistically unsatisfactory year, and they were not three peat, I think it’s a failed season for KC.
Put some respect on the name of Jalen Hurts
It is time for us to start talking about Jalen who hurts our way of talking about Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. If the measurement stick for the quarters of the NFL wins, then Hurts is at worst the second best quarter of the NFL behind Mahomes.
Since entering the National Football League, Hurts has won 46 games in 66 regular season departures. This is equivalent to a percentage of victory of 0.697%, the tenth highest brand of all time for a quarter of the NFL with at least 60 departures. It also improved at 6-3 in the playoffs and won the honors of the Super Bowl MVP last night, making it one of the two-quarters of an active quarter to have won this award.
His footage of playoffs may have been up to the task, but Hurts has always finished the year with Jayden Daniels and Patrick Mahomes for the head of the league during passing in the playoffs (five). Tack on five other precipitated affected, and you are looking at the most prolific quarter of the NFL 2025 qualifiers. Patrick Mahomes was the next QB to hurt with seven TDs in total of the playoffs.
The scary part of all of this: Hurts is only 26 years old. He is not even 27 years old, but he went to two Super Bowls and won one of them. Ask any Seahawks or Packers fan, it’s hard to win several Super Bowls. After winning one, there is no guarantee that you will come back to another. However, Hurts is under contract until the end of the 2026-27 season, and the Eagles seem ready to do another race next season.
I have the feeling that it will not be the last time we see Jalen Houts Host the Lombardi Trophy. In the meantime, start looking at Hurts in the equivalent of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.
Saquon Barkley has just had the best season of all time by a ball carrier
We all knew that Saquon Barkley was extremely talented. However, his skills were wasted by the New York giants. If the director general of the Giants, Joe Schoen, had planned money that Barkley had asked during the dead, he would always be a loser in New York rather than a Super Bowl champion in Philadelphia.
With the victory of the Super Bowl Lix, I think it is sure to say that Saquon Barkley has finished the best year that we have ever seen a ball carrier.
During the regular season, Barkley ran out of 2,005 yards in 16 games, becoming only the ninth ball carrier in the history of the NFL to rush for more than 2000 yards in a single season. If Barkley had played in the week 18, he could have broken the precipitation record in a season of Eric Dickerson of 2,105 yards.
At the end of the day, it was an intelligent decision for Barkley to sit on the last game of the regular season, because it allowed him to be healthy and prepared for the playoffs. This allowed Barkley to rush for 499 yards in the playoffs, carrying its total of precipitation in a season to 2,504 yards. This represents a new NFL precipitation record in a single season while it was exceeding the temple of renown Terrell Davis which ran for 2,476 yards during the regular season 1998-99 and the playoffs.
If you ask Saquon, he will not tell you that he was care to break precipitation records. The only thing that interested him was to win his first Super Bowl.
“It was a one -year hell, but all the figures and the statistics are cool, but the best is to be able to keep this Lombardi trophy,” said Barkley Associated Press.
The good news for Saquon: he obtained the Lombardi trophy and the record. Now it’s impressive.
He was a bad super bowl
Now that the dust has set up, I think we can all admit that the Super Bowl Lix was forgettable if you were not a fan of the Eagles of Philadelphia.
There have been several problems with the Super Bowl 2025. First and more, the game was boring. It was fundamentally throughout the path. The chiefs scored two affected in the last three minutes of the competition. Before these TDS, the score was 40-6. Not exactly a barn burner by an imagination section.
The game was not even an eruption of epic proportions. The 18 -point victory is tied for the 16th largest margin of victory in a super bowl. If KC had not scored these late TDS, it would have been the fifth biggest point differential in the history of the Super Bowl.
The advertisements were not great. Some of them (Stella Artois “David & Dave: the other David“NFL”Flag 50“Little Caesars”Whoa!“And Hellmann’s”When Sally met Hellmann“) Were funny and cute, but there weren’t some who really stood out as really excellent. We had nothing like the “1984»Apple commercial or Betty White gets run over during a backyard football match.
Even the show at halftime was simply correct. Kendrick Lamar gave an excellent performance, but if you are not a fan of rap music, then this show at half-time probably did not call you much.
Between the eruption, the half-time show and the dull advertisements, the Super Bowl Lix was one of the worst Super Bowls that we have had in recent years.
