It is not every day that we see an overview of what a mysterious space plane is in orbit. This week, the US Space Force shared an image which, according to him, was taken last year by the X-37B, showing the earth in the distance and a little of the crafts itself. X-37B spear During its seventh mission at the end of 2023, but we do not know much about what this mission implies. Its previous flight, which ended in 2022, set a new endurance record for the space plane, recording 908 days in orbit.

There is not too much information to glean photo, but it offers a rare look at X-37B in space. “A camera on X-37B, used to ensure the health and safety of the vehicle, captures an image of the earth while conducting HEO experiences in 2024,” wrote The Space Force X.

We have been told something about the current mission is that it marks the first time that the X-37B made by Boeing tried a maneuver known as aerobrus the trail of the earth’s atmosphere. THE Spatial force said in October that the vehicle had started the process and that the last update indicates that it has succeeded. “The X-37B has executed a series of first-rate maneuvers, called aerobrime, to safely modify its orbit using a minimum fuel,” noted the spatial force. It is not known how long the mission should continue.
