For years, Sony has tried to build his own cinematographic universe of superheroes of the bad guys of Spider-Man without ever mentioning Spider-Man, and with the exception of Venom, it was a failure after another. Part of the problem with Kraven the hunter is that the character has no real powers, instead of his skills, but the film gives him a superhuman strength based on animals, sustainability and agility to the point that he can make a word of transparent walls. He is not even the only character that the film has trouble adapting; The powers that change the chameleon resemble an original Syfy from 2005, then there are the real bad guys in the film.
