Trader Joe’s recalls Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water bottles over hazard

Trader Joe’s Recalls certain bottles of mineral water imported on the possibility that the glass containers can break.

The recall has an impact German mineral water. According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the bottles were sold at around $ 3 POP.

In an announcement on March 12, the grocery chain said that certain product batch codes “may have the potential for cracked / damaged bottles”. The affected products have lots codes of the lot number 28/11/2024 L or 27/11/2024 L.

“The problem was identified by the research linked to the rupture of bottles during production and potentially affects 1% of bottles in the codes of lots above,” said the chain. “If you have bottles with one or the other lot code, please do not use them. We invite you to eliminate them carefully and go to Trader Joe for a full refund.”

Trader Joe’s said that no injury involving the bottles had yet been reported. The recall has an impact on 61,500 units in total, according to the CPSC.

The CPSC encouraged consumers to “immediately stop using the sparkling water bottles Gerolsteiner recalled and to make the bottles of the land affected at the store where they were purchased for a full refund.”

“Consumers will not be invited to proof of purchase, but will have to return the reminded bottle to receive a refund (in the form of money or credit),” said the ad.

The last Trader Joe reminder Comes a month after the chain recalled its organic organic bowls frozen on February 14. At the time, the chain said that “the product can contain foreign materials (plastic)” and urged customers to eliminate them or make products in stores.
