Prime minister Justin Trudeau returned to Ottawa, after completing his visit to London with an audience with King Charles.

Trudeau was in London for a safety summit on weekends, making Canada the only non-European country represented in talks on how to guarantee that the Ukrainian cease-fire is really taking place.

Analysts say that Trudeau’s visit was aimed at maintaining Canada’s role in the Transatlantic Alliance, despite the fact that US President Donald Trump takes NATO and blaming Ukraine for the invasion of Russia.

Trudeau said that he would raise questions with the king who are most important to Canadians, adding that Canada’s sovereignty and independence seem to be at the top of the public’s mind.

The Prime Minister visited King Charles Monday morning in his field of Sandringham; Like custom, Buckingham’s palace did not mention the subjects of conversation in its reading.

The king should also welcome Trump to Great Britain on a later date, an invitation that the British media castigated after a stormy exchange in the White House where Trump scolded the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Trudeau’s plane left London shortly afternoon, and he went up on the flight after arriving at Stanstead airport on a British military helicopter.
