EXCLUSIVE: The number of migrants arriving at southern border fell by more than 60% since President Donald Trump took office last week, new data obtained by Fox News Digital Shows.
There were 7,287 meetings of migrants on the southern border during the first seven days (January 20-26) after the inauguration of Trump by the border patrol between the entrance ports and by the Operations Office on the ground (OFO) at the entrance ports, with a daily average of 1,041 meetings per day.
This is compared to 20,086 meetings in the seven days in the last days of the Biden administration (January 13 to 19) before the inauguration of Trump, with an average of 2,869 meetings per day.

This is equivalent to more than a decrease of 63% in the number of meetings on the southern border.
President Trump came into office last week and immediately declared national emergency On the southern border, and ordered the expulsion of migrants without the possibility of asylum.
He also closed the use of the Biden era of the CBP One application which allows migrants to plan appointments to entry ports so that they can be authorized in the United States via a humanitarian humanitarian release . The figures suggest that the movements have an impact on the entrance ports and for those who cross illegally.
Fox News reported On Monday, less than 600 people illegally crossed the United States on Sunday and nine in the nine sectors received more than 200 illegal passages. The Del Rio sector – which is the same sector which would maintain more than 4,000 level crossings per day at the height of the border crisis in December 2023 – recorded only 60 level crossings.

In addition, his administration has launched a mass expulsion program, quickly accumulating daily arrests of more than 1,000 while raids take place in sanctuary cities, including Boston and New York.

The secretary of the DHS, Kristi Noem, Tuesday in New York, supervised one of the raids in New York, saying that immigration and the application of customs caught “bags” – including an illegal immigrant with accusations of kidnapping, of Aggression and burglary.
