The secretary said the administration had made its concerns about the border and illegal drugs known to Canadian and Mexican officials.

On Tuesday, American imports from China, the third largest American trading partner, became subject to a new price of 10% in addition to the initial price of 10% which he imposed on Chinese products last month.
Imported goods prices From Canada and Mexico have increased with 25% of prices collected on all imports from both countries. Prices include a cut for a 10% lower price on Canadian oil imports.

“The Mexicans and Canadians were on the phone with me all day today trying to show that they will do better, and the president listens because you know that he is very, very fair and very reasonable,” said Lunick. “So I think he’s going to work with them something.”
