President Donald Trump should announce a decision to reduce the impact of prices on car manufacturers on Tuesday in Michigan, Fox Business confirmed.
A source in the Trump administration said that the decision is following the automotive industry’s efforts to put manufacturing in the United States, adding that Trump wants to give them a “track” with their business.
Commerce secretary Howard Lunick said that the president “establishes an important partnership” with “car manufacturers and our major American workers”.
“This agreement is a major victory for the president’s trade policy by rewarding the companies that manufacture at the national level, while providing a track to the manufacturers who have expressed their commitment to invest in America and extend their national manufacture,” said Lux.

The reduction will prevent car manufacturers who are already paying prices to also be struck by steel and aluminum tasks, the Wall Street Journal reported. Car manufacturers would also be Refunded for prices already paid.

The prices were decided by the Trump administration in order to stimulate national manufacturing and it was planned to impose a distinct rate of 25% on the automotive parts from May 3.
Initially, the parties in accordance with the agreement of the United States-Mexico-Canada would be exempt, although the Commerce Department had to develop a plan to impose the price on non-American components.
The agency also had to establish a process to impose prices on other automotive parts by the end of June.

Since a 25% rate has been imposed on all imported passenger vehicles In April, car experts feared that the cost of new vehicles across industry would take a huge blow.
The National Automobile Dealers Association has raised concerns this year on “Customers matching the vehicles they can afford”, describing it as “a continuous challenge for new car and truck dealers”.
