The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution condemning the invasion of Ukraine Russia, co-co-founded by the Nations of kyiv and the EU, despite the vote against the United States and exhorting other states to do it.

The resolution was adopted with 93 votes in favor. The United States and Russia were two of the 18 votes against. China has abstained, alongside 64 other countries.

The United States had urged countries to vote because it has its own resolution which calls peace during the three-year war and does not condemn the invasion of Russia or its continuous aggression against Ukraine.

The United Nations Security Council, in which the United States and the other four permanent members have veto rights, is likely to vote on the issue later in the day.

The vote of the general assembly, which came shortly after the leaders of the G7 do not agree on a joint declaration condemning the war of Russia against Ukraine on the occasion of the third anniversary of the invasion President Vladimir Putin revealed the widening of the Gulf between the United States and Europe in the first months of Donald Trump by Donald Trump second term.

Trump put pressure on a rapid peace agreement through bilateral talks with Moscow which bypassed Europe and kyiv, scary the European capitals which fear a schism in a transatlantic relationship of 80 years which supported the security of the continent.
