It’s hard to find a company that had a better 2024 than NVIDIA. Even after some turbulence in recent weeks, the chip giant’s stock price ended last year up 178 percentand its market capitalization of over $3.3 trillion – with a T – is currently second only to Apple. That’s because the ongoing AI revolution is largely fueled by NVIDIA processors, which are raking in billions on its hardware even as its customers remain firmly in the red.
So what does founder and CEO Jensen Huang do for an encore? That’s a great question, but we won’t have to wait long for an answer. Huang kicks off CES 2025 in Las Vegas with first keynote speech. He’ll take the stage at Mandalay Bay on Monday, January 8 at 9:30 p.m. ET – and you can watch his remarks live here.
What to expect at NVIDIA’s CES 2025 press conference
In addition to numerous AI-centric partnerships and services, NVIDIA made a series of PC gamer-friendly announcements during its CES 2024 press conference, with new RTX 40 Super GPU Cards and upgrades to its GeForce Now game streaming platform.
For 2025, expect the inevitable aftereffects, with rumors suggest a super-fast RTX 5090 to start. Of course, Wall Street will be more focused on the details that Huang will no doubt share about the state of NVIDIA’s AI hardware. We’ll likely hear more news about the company Blackwell AI Chipswhich should start shipping a larger volume this year after entering the market at the end of 2024.
