Tesla owners can activate a safety measure on their vehicles called “Sentry fashion”, which can help dissuade or even eliminate threats as a result of a generalized vandalism targeting Elon Musk Electric automobile company.
The Sentry mode, when activated, maintains the cameras and sensors of the vehicle on and ready to record a suspicious activity that occurs nearby.
“Consider Sentry mode as an intelligent vehicle security system that alerts you when it detects possible threats nearby,” said Tesla Model 3 owner manual.
Tesla vehicles with activated Sentry mode will pile the headlights, sound the alarm and display a message on the touch screen saying that the cameras can record as a warning to those outside the vehicle if a threat is detected or if its sensors choose the “jerky movement” as being towed or shaken.

The Sentry mode also sends the owner of the vehicle an alert on the Tesla mobile application and records images of the event to a USB player, if it is installed in the vehicle.

Sentry mode, which is deactivated by default, can be activated in several ways.
The owners can activate the safety measure using the car touch screen by entering the control panel and the security subsection. It can also be activated using the Tesla application or using the voice command, “keep Tesla safe”.

The Tesla vehicle must be parked and locked to activate and stay above the battery life at 20% to remain active.
