Manav Sharma, a 25 -year -old computer worker, was found dead in his home in AGRA on February 24, just a day after his return from Mumbai. Main partner of the process at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Sharma had a history of self -harm and, in a 7 -minute video published before his death, accused his wife, Nikita Sharma, harassment and infidelity.
A disturbed marriage and a final message
Manav and Nikita married in 2024 in Agra before moving to Mumbai. In his video, Sharma alleged that his marriage had become unbearable and said that Nikita wanted to live with another man.
On the other hand, he urged society to “think and speak of men”, highlighting the loneliness that many experience under societal pressure. He also called for legal protection for men, questioning the equity of the system:
“Men also need protection. If things continue in this way, there will come a time when men will not be left, when there is no one left to take back the blame.”
The wife denies allegations, cites alcohol abuse
Nikita denied all allegations, saying that Manav had a history of suicide attempts and fighting alcohol dependence. She allegedly allegedly assaulted him, but her concerns had been rejected by her family.
In his video, Manav recognized past suicide attempts, displaying scars on his wrist: “I have always been an abandonment. I tried to end my life several times before.
Current police investigation
The authorities confirmed that they received a WhatsApp complaint on Thursday evening and launched an investigation into the case.
Manav’s death has sparked conversations on mental health, legal protections for men and the impact of troubled relationships, while its final message continues to circulate online.
