Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the club could make a move in the January transfer window – if they can identify the right players.
The Gunners are six points clear of Liverpool in the Premier League and are without winger Bukayo Saka due to injury.
Last January, the club didn’t sign any players, but Arteta says he could make a move this year.
He said, “I don’t know. The focus is on the players we have.

“If there is someone on the market that we can afford and we think will have a real impact on the team, we always have to be open to that possibility.
“Right now the focus is on what we have.”
Team News
Saka remains out for a considerable time, but Arsenal will have Kai Havertz available after illness for Saturday’s trip to Brighton.
Former Seagulls defender Ben White remains out, while Takehiro Tomiyasu is back in training but will not be rushed. To add to the problems, right-back Jurrien Timber is suspended.
Raheem Sterling could return soon, however.
Arteta said: “He [Sterling] is starting to do things on the ground so that’s excellent news. Let’s see how he progresses next week and we’ll see if he’s available for the following week.
