Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made a major step before the start of their IPL 2025 campaign. They signed Shardul Thakur As a replacement player for injured Mohin Khan. The move was made by LSG one day before playing its first match against Delhi’s capital at Visakhapatnam.

The removal of Mohin from the 2025 season IPL is a major blow for LSG. The left arm stimulator injured its anterior cross ligament (ACL) in December 2024 while playing a Vijay Hazare trophy match.
