Patrice Evra defended Didier Deschamps’ record as a manager of France and suggested that FIFA “gave the World Cup to [Lionel] Messi ”in 2022.

“There is a World Cup to prepare. I don’t think it will bother the team. Players should focus on the present, but we cannot talk about Zidane in each interview.
