Chelsea’s boss, Enzo Maresca, said his team is still targeting a finish among the first four this season despite their recent rocky form.
The Maresca team was in sparkling contact at the start of the season, the former Leicester manager wishing to minimize any speech on a title challenge.
Chelsea has since lost four of her last eight games and will go to Aston Villa on Saturday in sixth place.
MARESCA said, “We spent almost the whole season in the first four and with 13 games to play, the target, for sure, is the first four.

“We will do our best to get there. Knowing the difficult moment we have now, with five or six important players.
“I am here to win matches and bring this club to fight for titles. The problem is that when you win games, you look humble and when you don’t win games, you look like a lack of ambition.
“My intention is to bring this club where it must be.”
Maresca was supported by club owners This week and remains confident to reverse things.
The victory at Villa Park, where Chelsea won 13 times in the Premier League, would be a good start.
Maresca said: “It’s pleasant to hear, I really appreciate it, the relationship with the club. They always support me. Sports managers, owners, all clubs. »»
