The New York judge overseeing President-elect Donald Trump’s case rejected a motion to dismiss the case filed after his presidential election victory, ruling that he should be sentenced on Jan. 10, days before his inauguration. Judge Juan Merchan said he was not inclined to impose a prison sentence.
