Lamimine Yamal gave a simple “no” but firm when asked if he could be attracted to Real Madrid instead of signing a new contract in Barcelona.

The current Yamal contract at Barça expires in 2026, which led to suggestions that he could be tempted to leave his childhood club and sign elsewhere.

But it is believed that the framework of an agreement is already in place with Barça and it should be signed when there is 18 years old on July 13.

This did not stop speculation, however, with the Rivaux du Barça, Madrid even mentioned as a potential destination.

Asked about a possible move to the Santiago Bernabeu, the Spanish winger told El Mundo Deportivo: “Impossible. Madrid? No.”

Yamal – I owe everything at Barça

The president of Barça, Joan Laporta, said on several occasions that the club had received several offers for Yamal, but he remains the key to the club’s long -term plans as they prepare to return to the renovated camp.

The teenager said: “It was the only club that I went apart from the Torreta, which was the team where I started. But yes, I owe everything at Barça. In the end, this is where I grew up. I was at the Masía since the age of 12 and seven playing at Barça.

“I think nobody doubts that I am a bowl [Barca fan] And what I want for this club. Since I did my debut, I said it and I think that [the contract] will be resolved at the end. If the two parties want something to happen, it will happen. But I think no one can doubt what I feel for this club. »»

The teenager makes comparisons with Lionel Messi

Yamal had to make comparisons with Lionel Messi after having exploded on the stage of the European championship last summer, where he played a central role in Spain winning the title.

He said, “Fortunately, I am not the first person it happened.

“I try to be me. Obviously, Messi, and I always say, is the best player in history and compare you to him means that you are doing things well, but I try to be me. I try to make my way and give everything for this shirt.

“Ask more every day”

The rise of Yamal means that his life is very different from the 17 -year -old average boy.

Asked what motivates him, he said: “Demand more every day. Everything helps me. Things are expected from me that are normally expected from a 17-year-old boy and I demand it from myself. This is what makes me go more every day and wants more.

Yamal played while Barça beat Rayo Vallecano 1-0 Monday evening to go to the top of the Liga.

Then, the side of Hansi Flick is a trip to Gran Canaria to face Las Palmas on Saturday evening.
