Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has said he will “never decide when I leave this club” after latest speculation he would leave at the end of the season.
Ancelotti, 65, won two La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies with Real in two spells with the Spanish giants and is under contract until 2026.
It has been reported in Spain this week that he would leave this summer with former Real midfielder Xabi Alonso tipped to replace him.

But speaking ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League match with RB Salzburg, Ancelotti said: “I I want to be very clear: I will never decide when I leave this club, never in my life.
“One day that time will come, but I don’t know when it will be. I don’t decide. It could be tomorrowin a few games, a year, five years…
“[President] Florentino Perez will continue here for another four years and my goal is to reach Florentino’s four years.. And so we can say goodbye together.
“I feel very loved in all aspects: fans, club, media level. All.”
Defending holders Real have struggled in the new Champions League format and find themselves in 20th place with two matches remaining. Only the top eight qualify directly, meaning Real will likely face a home-and-away play-off round next month.
“There are not many options, but the only one is to win the remaining two matches,” Ancelotti added.
“If we have to play in the round of 16, we will do it 100%. Knowing that the schedule will be even more demanding, but we are used to it.
